Laksa King was founded in the year 1998 by Esmond Wong. The first ever branch in Australia was opened in a small arcade off Racecourse Rd, Flemington. As the restaurant gained popularity, the founder felt the need of moving Laksa King to a bigger and better place. In the year 2010, Laksa king opened its second branch in Glen Waverly.
Not only was this restaurant bigger in space, but also had an expanded menu to serve you a better variety of dishes and flavours.
